A Word from the Preacher

In the New Testament those who were baptized into Christ gathered together as churches of Christ without joining any denomination. As those Christians did in those ancient times, so we do today at the Northwest Church of Christ. As with other churches of Christ we are an independent congregation unaffiliated with any denomination.

Jesus is the head of his church, and his will has been communicated to us by the Holy Spirit through the scriptures; thus we are resolved to speak where the scriptures speak, and to be silent where the scriptures are silent.
